Since 1975 our ministry has continued to thrive while providing spiritual support to the greater Athens area and beyond. By including Unity Athens in your estate planning, you can leave a loving, lasting legacy ensuring that we may continue to offer services not just for years, but a blessing from you that will bless generations to come.

Our vision for growth and expansion is as follows:

We visualize Unity Athens thriving, serving others, giving, and expanding. Our monthly income exceeds our monthly expenses. This allows us to tithe, pay salaries, provide programs, and save toward our future home. We see an expansion of our diverse, welcoming, and loving community. We envision thriving programs for children and youth. We welcome new members regularly. Our active volunteers, teams, board members, and prayer chaplains assist the needs of our community. Our music program lifts our hearts and affirms our principles. We welcome gifts of time, presence, prayers, funds, and property. We co-create this or something better for Unity Athens. And so it is.

Your gift may be designated to the general fund for areas of greatest need and/or to the expansion fund or to a special area that speaks to your heart. Please speak with your estate planner or other professional about making a lasting contribution through one or more of the vehicles below. For these purposes please be sure to use our legal 503c name of “Unity Center for Spiritual Growth, Inc.” instead of our branded name “Unity Athens.”

Bequests

Make a provision in your Will of cash, securities, real estate, or other personal property to benefit our ministry.

IRA (Individual Retirement Account) or Pension Plans

Consider giving ordinary income assets such as an IRA or pension plan to Unity Athens.

Qualified Charitable Distribution

You may designate Unity Athens to help you meet your annual IRS required minimum distribution of tax-deferred retirement accounts.

Stocks, Bonds, Life Insurance

It is a simple process to designate Unity Athens as a beneficiary on assets other than cash.

Charitable Trust

You can ask your trustee to designate income to Unity Athens.
